    MEXC announced the launch of an initiative to accelerate the development and mass adoption of Web3

    Published on:

    Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC announced the launch of the MEXC Foundation, a trust fund created to accelerate responsible development and inclusive adoption of blockchain and the Web3 ecosystem. It is designed to drive innovation, develop knowledge and expand access to opportunities around the world, making the technology a vehicle for meaningful and practical change, according to a release provided by Incrypted.

    The move reflects a new approach to corporate responsibility in the crypto industry — a focus on long-term and sustainable ecosystem development rather than short-term profits, the organization said.

    In April 2025, MEXC also launched a $30 million initiative in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, which is now integrated into the MEXC Foundation’s operations, amplifying long-term social impact through global projects and partnerships.

    MEXC is committed to supporting communities and regions with high growth potential, enabling them to actively participate in shaping the future of Web3, as part of becoming a full ecosystem, the company said.

    The MEXC Foundation’s activities are based on three key pillars:

    • education promotes blockchain knowledge and access through scholarships, youth programs, academic partnerships and open education projects, building the next generation of Web3 leaders;
    • empowerment aims to support inclusion and representation in the ecosystem: assisting undervalued developers, hosting student hackathons, mentoring, supporting promising projects and accelerator programs to create an environment where diverse talent can be realized;
    • public support extends beyond the industry, from humanitarian aid to environmental initiatives, including partnering with nonprofit organizations and local communities to create long-term value for vulnerable populations and the planet as a whole.

    «For blockchain and the crypto industry as a whole to take a quantum leap forward, it takes more than technological breakthroughs — it takes a supporting force to drive real adoption in everyday life. The MEXC Foundation reflects our commitment to driving this evolution: by combining education, empowerment and public support, we are turning the potential of blockchain into positive and practical change», said MEXC Chief Operating Officer Tracy Jing.

    According to the release, the MEXC Foundation will introduce scholarship and mentorship programs as early as 2025, and large-scale mentorship and career development initiatives in early 2026. By focusing on undervalued regions of the world, the foundation aims to overcome both the talent shortage and accessibility barriers that hold back inclusive Web3 development.

    The company invites partners, innovators and communities to join in shaping the inclusive future of Web3 — driving innovation, increasing access and turning blockchain’s potential into real positive impact. Details are available on the official MEXC Foundation page.
