    Panama will host Panama Blockchain Week 2025

    Panama Blockchain Week 2025 will take place in Panama between April 22 and 24, 2025. Organizers of the event in a conversation with Incrypted said that governments, world leaders, tech experts and blockchain enthusiasts will gather at the Panama Convention Center to discuss innovations in data management, digital security, blockchain applications across industries and investment opportunities.

    “The adoption of new technologies in the financial sector promises to revolutionize traditional processes, providing greater transparency, security and efficiency. This event will be a key meeting point for companies, startups, investors and experts to share knowledge and experience, fostering the development of new business models and digital banking processes,” the press release said.

    In addition, the statement said the event aims to engage gas pedals, universities, financial institutions and leaders in the academic community to democratize access to knowledge and maximize the impact of blockchain in sectors such as banking, logistics, technology and commerce.

    The event program is known to include various initiatives such as Investor’s Night, an opportunity for blockchain startups to present their projects to influential investors, as well as a learning block designed to expand the practical knowledge of participants.

    In addition, during the event, Panama’s initiative to establish April 22 as International Blockchain Day will be officially announced.

    The event will also feature technical workshops, master classes, conferences, interactive activities, and demonstrations of the latest developments in blockchain hardware, software and services.

    Confirmed speakers include Jose Raul Mulino, President of Panama, and Carlos Hoyos, Undersecretary of Commerce. Also speaking at the event will be:

    • Evan Luthra — entrepreneur and investor;
    • Martino Giralt — financial advisor with a specialization in digital assets;
    • Hector Torres — expert on investment funds and blockchain;
    • Monce Guardia — blockchain and artificial intelligence expert;
    • Edmond Pallerola — CEO of Canal Bank;
    • Gabriel Campa — Director of Digital Assets at TowerBank.
