Students of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (NaUKMA) received NFT-certificates on the program “Blockchain technologies” in the virtual space. This is stated in a release provided by Incrypted.

The crypto exchange WhiteBIT was a partner in this initiative. The certificates, in turn, were issued based on the Whitechain network.

The Blockchain Technology Master’s certificate program was launched back in 2023. NaUKMA was the first university in Eastern Europe to start training specialists in Web3.

The 2025 graduating class is the second stream of students who have successfully completed the program. As WhiteBIT noted, its participants studied cryptography, DeFi, development of smart contracts and technical tools for regulating the crypto market for several months.

The awarding of certificates and honoring of graduates took place in a virtual space from Lezo on the Spatial platform. All certificates were minted in Whitechain, allowing for verification.

“This program for us is not just about learning. It’s an example of how blockchain solutions are transforming traditional institutions. And we are definitely not stopping,” said Vladimir Nosov, founder and president of WhiteBIT Group.

The NUKMA directly emphasized the importance of the Blockchain Technology Program, pointing to the high potential of this field and the room for innovation.
