TOKEN2049 is a leading global event that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and investors to showcase the latest developments in blockchain and decentralized technologies.

During the event, Fastex presented its next-generation Web3 ecosystem, highlighting its own solutions and products, including the YoWallet crypto custodial wallet and the Fastex blockchain — Bahamut, which operates on the innovative PoSA consensus mechanism.

A day before the main event, on April 29, Fastex, in collaboration with Solidus Labs and Delphine Forma, hosted an event dedicated to legal and compliance matters. It was held at the ftNFT Phygital Space in Chinatown, Dubai Mall, and brought together leading experts in crypto regulation and compliance for a breakfast focused on regulatory and legal frameworks in the crypto sphere.

In addition, Fastex hosted the Future Confidence conference, where it unveiled a range of new developments within its ecosystem. These included the YoHealth app, which promotes a healthy lifestyle, as well as YoPhone, YoSIM, YoBlog, the Bahamut grant program, and PercentMe — a DeFi lending and borrowing protocol built on the Bahamut blockchain and supported by the Bahamut grant program.

According to the press release, Fastex’s presence drew significant attention. Notably, YoHealth brand ambassador, world-renowned footballer and former Manchester United player Patrice Evra, visited the company’s booth and engaged with event participants.

Fastex’s Chief Legal Officer and Board Member Vardan Khachatryan delivered a keynote speech on the IO.NET main stage titled “DeFi and the Law: What Regulation Should and Shouldn’t Do in a Decentralized World”. He spoke about the importance of avoiding overregulation, the steps lawmakers should take to support DeFi development, and the risks of losing balance in this process.

Fastex also co-organized the LONGITUDE event together with Cointelegraph, gathering 350 top industry guests for discussions, networking, and idea exchange with leading blockchain media.

During the conference, Khachatryan led industry discussions with representatives from NEAR Protocol, Tezos, and the analytics platform Nansen, exploring the balance between innovation and regulatory compliance.

Fastex’s presence at TOKEN2049 once again underscored its commitment to being a leader in the Web3 space, focusing on innovation, trust, and meaningful progress in regulation, the company concluded.
