Paris Blockchain Week 20 25 (PBW 2025) was held in Paris from April 8 to 10. The organizers of the event in a conversation with Incrypted stated that the event was attended by more than 9,600 participants (67% of them top executives) from 95 countries.

In addition, the event brought together more than 500 speakers from around the world. Some of the most notable include IOHK CEO Charles Hoskinson, Blockstream CEO Adam Beck, Ripple President Monica Long, and French Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs Clara Chappa.

“The dynamic and interactive atmosphere of the event was complemented by more than 36,000 meetings organized through the official networking app, which created many opportunities for collaboration, innovation and partnership”, the press release said.

One of the key themes of the current event was the resilience of the cryptocurrency sector amid global instability.

In his speech, Charles Hoskinson emphasized that against the backdrop of international conflicts, blockchain and cryptocurrencies will only strengthen their positions, playing an important role in ensuring economic stability. A similar opinion was expressed by Monica Long, President of Ripple, noting the irreversibility of cryptotechnology adoption in the global financial infrastructure.

The event also highlighted Europe’s active stance on blockchain regulation, with significant attention paid to MiCA regulations, the organizers noted.

“Investor Day at Paris Blockchain Week 2025 has finally established itself as a key event that brings together global financial leaders, crypto entrepreneurs and technology visionaries. This year, more than 1,000 startups participated in the Start in Block competition, and more than 400 leading investors considered pitches worth more than €10 million in funding and prizes”, the statement said.

In addition to the main conference program, PBW 2025 included a number of exclusive events that further enriched the attendees’ experience. According to the organizers, Bitcoin Investors Day provided insights on bitcoin’s role in the global financial system.

AgentX, a day dedicated to decentralized AI agents, combined expert discussions and project demonstrations. A VIP dinner under the glass pyramid of the Louvre created an atmosphere for networking and deal-making. The hackathon, which took place on the eve of the main event, brought together developers and innovators to create practical solutions based on blockchain. The final chord was an after-party at La Machine Du Moulin Rouge.

Also at the event were more than 400 journalists from the world’s leading media, such as CNBC, Forbes, Financial Times, Thomson Reuters, CoinDesk, Cointelegraph and The Block.
