Changpeng Zhao (CZ), founder of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, announced the acquisition of ASTER tokens.

“Full disclosure: I just bought ASTER today with my own money on Binance. I am not a trader. I buy and hold,” Zhao wrote.

Based on the post, it appears that CZ bought ASTER for about $0.91 per token. His wallet holds nearly 2.1 million ASTER. So the total value of his purchase is about $1.9 million.

After publication, the asset rose by about 30% to surpass the $1.28 mark. As of the time of writing, the token is trading near $1.05.

CZ also noted that he bought BNB in the first month of its token launch eight years ago and held all the coins (except for the ones he spent).
