On 31 October 2025, the Zcash (ZEC) exchange rate exceeded the $390 mark. This is a new historical maximum for the coin, which provides anonymity of transactions using zero-knowledge technology.
Over the last week, the asset has added about 50% in value. The market capitalisation of Zcash exceeded $6.2 billion, while at the end of September it was about $1.1 billion. The coin surpassed Monero in this indicator.
According to CoinGecko, the aggregate capitalisation of confidential tokens reached almost $22 billion.

Recall that on 4 January 2025, the crypto exchange Binance classified Monero and Zcash as high-risk assets. Since then, they have risen by around 110% and, 1450% respectively.
