The Coinfest Asia 2025 crypto festival gathered more than 10,000 participants from over 90 countries at Nuanu Creative City in Bali, becoming the largest event in the world where Web3 is combined with music, culture, and business. The event organizers told Incrypted about it.

Over the course of two days, there were more than 100 sessions, 300 speakers, and 100 side events, including discussions on institutional capital, real asset tokenization, and the future of Web3 in Asia, the statement said.

Representatives of Binance, Ripple, Stellar, Fireblocks, Bybit, Polygon, Trust Wallet, X (formerly Twitter), BRI Ventures, and other companies spoke on stage, the event team noted.

According to the organizers, the festival had a unique atmosphere. During the day, guests took part in trading battles from Pintu, chess tournaments with Anichess, mascot battles, and live debates at Live Degen Sessions, and in the evening, in concerts and cultural shows. The Balinese Ogoh-ogoh Parade attracted particular attention, highlighting the connection between innovation and local culture.

“What I love about this event is that it’s about a festival of crypto. It’s about entertainment. It’s about energizing people around this space. It’s not another boring conference where you’re not leaving with takeaways. So I’m super impressed with all of the thoughtful execution and moments that have gone into what I know is a very memorable conference. And what’s been incredible is the diversity. Like I’m running into people I see all over the world,” said Rachel Conlan, Chief Marketing Officer of Binance.

Mudit Gupta, Chief Technology Officer of Polygon, also noted the uniqueness of Coinfest:

“Coinfest Asia feels very different from other events, but in the best way. It has the atmosphere of a community festival that brings together industry leaders, regulators, and retail users. A new idea can feel like a blueprint for the entire industry — the way cutting-edge technology becomes mainstream in an instant.”

Among the key sponsors were Binance, Bybit, Gate, Polkadot, Sui, Coinstore, and others who turned their stands into interactive spaces.

“Indonesia is such a unique market — with so many projects and a massive user base. Bali is the perfect place to connect global players with the local community,” said Kevin Lee, Chief Commercial Officer at Gate.

The event was also attended by representatives of the regulator, the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK), represented by Mahendra Siregar, Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, and Hasan Fawzi, Chief Executive for Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets Supervision. In a statement, the authority said:

“OJK supports Coinfest Asia and the Indonesia Blockchain Conference (IBC) 2025 as platforms that can strengthen and develop Indonesia’s blockchain industry.”

According to the festival team, the presence of OJK’s management underlined the strategic importance of the event for the formation of national policy in the field of digital assets.

The organisers are already preparing for next year’s event.

“We don’t believe in traditional format, events can both be productive and fun. We strive to make Coinfest Asia the biggest crypto festival where attendees can truly enjoy the crypto culture, while also creating impactful connections,” explained Felita Setiawan, director of Indonesia Crypto Network (ICN).

Coinfest Asia 2026 promises to be even bigger, maintaining a balance between innovation, culture, and community, the event’s representatives emphasized.
