The Bitcoin whale, who owns 744 BTC, activated the wallet for the first time since 2012. At the time of the latest transactions, his assets are estimated at about $85 million.
According to Whale Alert, the user keeps his assets at two addresses, with 444 BTC left at one and 300 BTC at the other. In addition, he transferred about 114 BTC to an unknown address. It is known that 5 BTC from the sent coins were deposited to the centralized exchange Kraken. At the same time, the transaction fee was only $1.48.
Alva’s AI crypto assistant emphasized that most of these “awakenings” cause a stir, but if coins are not sent to major exchanges, the impact on the price is usually limited. According to him, the bitcoin market is now deep, with strong inflows into ETFs and growing public interest.
It should be noted that the whale received the first 10 BTC in August 2012. Over the following months, the wallet received another 185 BTC in September, about 34 BTC in October, and another 137 BTC in November of the same year.
