    ETHWomen 2025 will be held in Toronto in May

    Published on:

    On May 13, 2025, Toronto will host ETHWomen, a Web3 event focused on the inclusiveness and participation of women in the blockchain, for the third time. The event is a part of the Blockchain Futurist Conference and Canada Crypto Week and remains free for all participants. This is stated in a press release shared by the organizers with Incrypted.

    The event team emphasized that in an industry still dominated by men, ETHWomen aims to break down barriers and create a space for learning, networking, and development. The event opens the door for both newcomers and women who already work in Web3 — developers, startup founders, or just those interested in blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

    Representatives of ETHWomen 2025 noted that the global initiative from the Bitget exchange, Blockchain4Her (B4H), became the event’s platinum sponsor. As part of the cooperation, Blockchain4Her will arrange the ETHWomen Happy Hour, an informal event to strengthen the community, share knowledge, and inspire.

    In addition, participants will receive branded B4H badges, and for each social media post with this badge, Bitget Wallet will donate $10 to support a local charity for women in the tech sector, the press release said.

    “Blockchain4Her is not just an initiative, but a movement for real change. We want women to be not only participants but also leaders in Web3. We want our sponsorship to be an incentive for women to join us in building a decentralized world that evolves through diversity of thought,” said Bitget CEO Gracie Chen.

    The organizers announced that Unicoin, the next-generation asset-backed cryptocurrency, will also join ETHWomen 2025 as a platinum sponsor, continuing the support for inclusivity at Web3 from industry leaders. As the official stage sponsor of ETHWomen, Unicoin will help create a platform for influential voices shaping the future of blockchain.

    According to the press release, the ETHWomen speakers include well-known Web3 leaders, including:

    • Lisa Loud — Executive Director, Secret Network;
    • Jelena Djuric — Co-Founder & CEO, Noble;
    • Elena Sinelnikova — Co-Founder, CryptoChicks & Metis;
    • Annelise Osborne — Chief Business Officer, Kadena;
    • Koleya Karringten — Executive Director, Canadian Blockchain Consortium;
    • Amanda Wick — Founder & CEO, Association for Women in Cryptocurrency;
    • Justyna Osowska — Founder, Women in Blockchain Canada;
    • Jamie Jung — Co-Founder, Women in Web3 Korea.

    The event also receives support from community partners, including CryptoChicks, The Association for Women in Crypto, Growth for Girlies, and Shibwomen, organizations focused on inclusivity, education, and creating opportunities for women in the blockchain industry, the team emphasized.

    After Toronto, the next ETHWomen event will take place on November 5-6, 2025 in Miami, Florida, demonstrating the intention to expand the global mission of women’s leadership in Web3, blockchain, and artificial intelligence.

    Registration is now open at ethwomen.com.
