The Bitcoin 2025 conference, which will take place between May 27 and 29 in Las Vegas, will see the return of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program. The organizers of the event, in a conversation with Incrypted, stated that CLE is aimed at lawyers, CFOs, auditors, startup founders and top management.
What is known is that participants will be able to earn four hours of educational credits through the program, subject to approval from the Nevada Continuing Legal Education Committee. They will also receive certificates of completion for submission to states that do not have prior accreditation for CLE or CPE credits.
The program will cover critical legal, regulatory and business topics shaping the bitcoin industry. Specifically, the event will discuss the following topics:
- the Trump administration’s bitcoin policy, including the strategic reserve, regulation of stablecoins, and market transformation;
- the legal environment for the use of bitcoin in public company treasuries;
- court cases and the impact of regulatory restrictions on access to banking services;
- the legal risks of mining contracts and the nuances of business transactions, delivery risks and the evolution of regulatory requirements.
Registration is known to be open with CLE & Industry Pass or CLE & VIP Whale Pass packages. More than 300 sponsors and 5,000 companies are expected. Details are on the official event website.
